4 Things That Totally STUNNED Us at Disney’s NEW Fantasy Springs Land

We’ve been making our way around Tokyo DisneySea’s HUGE expansion, Fantasy Springs!

Fantasy Springs

This expansion brings three new lands to Tokyo Disney Resort, along with the brand-new Fantasy Springs Hotel. It officially opens to guests on June 6th, but for now, we’re sharing some of our biggest shocks about this land so far!

Tokyo DisneySea’s new Fantasy Springs land is truly one-of-a-kind. We’ve never seen anything like it! From the new rides and restaurants to the in-park hotel, we’ve been wowed every step of the way of our experience so far. But, if you ask us — these are the coolest and most shocking things we’ve discovered!

Fantasy Springs

Not only does Fantasy Springs include Peter Pan’s Never Land…it also includes Captain Hook’s Pirate Ship! You can actually explore the ship and there are so many different Easter eggs to uncover — like hearing Captain Hook’s voice.

Another experience that completely shocked us over in Peter Pan’s Never Land was Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure Ride!

There is SO MUCH new tech and innovation in this ride! The vehicle has a three-dimensional surround sound system, and the Peter Pan music has been rearranged especially for the ride.

The ride designers told us they used special UV paints to blend the media and scenery — so they were completely in sync. Quincy said it is SUPER immersive, and you literally never see the edge of a screen!

But, getting our very first glimpse at Rapunzel in her tower over in the Rapunzel’s Forest area of the expansion might be one of our favorite moments so far. You can see her up in her tower in our video below! The Rapunzel animatronic at the top is just so cool to see.

Before you even make it very far into Fantasy Springs from the new Fantasy Springs hotel, you’ll be greeted with the most incredible garden of flora and rocks, along with beautiful water features.

The back of the hotel exits through security and directly into the park, where spectacular rock work featuring Disney characters really sets the fantastical scene. There’s Mickey, in full sorcerer mode…

Notice Sorcerer Mickey and his iconic foe?

…and numerous Disney Princesses hidden amongst the rock work as well.

Tokyo DisneySea’s Fantasy Springs attraction is just SO immersive and we can’t wait to experience more! The land officially opens on June 6th, so start planning now!
