There’s an ongoing problem in Disney World that we need to address…again.
No, we’re not talking about how confusing Genie+ is or about crowds in the parks. We’re also not talking about how hard it is to get dining reservations for some restaurants these days. Nope, we’re talking about Pirates of the Caribbean, which has been having the SAME problem for some time now.
So we’ve been seeing this problem since last year. Pirates of the Caribbean, for some reason, is often closed when Magic Kingdom opens. So if you had plans to rope drop the ride, you won’t be able to. This happened AGAIN yesterday morning, with the ride being closed for TWO HOURS after Magic Kingdom opened.
After the ride opened, it also closed down AGAIN later in the evening (although it seems that the downtime was shorter that time).
So if you have plans to visit Disney World, be sure to make a backup plan if you find your plans to ride Pirates of the Caribbean first thing because you just may not be able to.

They also need to work out the problems with Rise of the Resistance. It shuts down multiple times a day, and once when I was there it was closed at park open, and didn’t start running until 4 PM. And of course, even then it was in “B” mode.
