We have been keeping tabs on Universal Orlando’s construction of their new park Epic Universe.
There has been a lot of speculation over what new lands we’ll see and new attractions we’ll get to experience. Up until now, only Super Nintendo World was the only confirmed land and there were no confirmed rides. But that all changed! Universal has finally given us a sneak peek into the new theme park and a few of the confirmed attractions (and some teasing about another)!
Epic Universe will have 5 new lands! Celestial Park will be the heart of the theme park and the first world you’ll enter when you get to the park. It will be acres of rolling gardens, waterways, and strolling pathways. And it will have 2 new rides and a wet-play area! Let’s take a look!

The two rides in Celestial Park will be Starfall Racers and Constellation Carousel!
Starfall Racers will be a dual-launch racing coaster that sends you rocketing through the sky! You’ll be riding on a comet through stars racing the other riders by you. You’ll go up to 62 mph and up to 133 feet. The ride consists of 5,000 feet of track that will incorporate dynamic maneuvers like the “Celestial Spin” during which to two vehicles will do an inverted crisscross maneuver. It’s going to be “out-of-this-world.”
Constellation Carousel will the the main centerpiece of Celestial Park. You will be aboard whirling constellations that glide back and forth and even do full 360-degree spins. According to universal it will be “a choreographed dance of music and starlight” through the Milky Way.
The new wet-play area and giant compass rose is called Astronomica. It will feature crystal blue fountains where you can dance and play around!
Another land that was confirmed was The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic! We’ve been making assumptions that a new Harry Potter land would be making its debut at Epic Universe, but now it is confirmed. And along with that Universe has teased an all-new magical ride.
In the video showcasing the brand new park, Universal teased us with a new ride coming to the Ministry of Magic, but they wouldn’t give us any more details than that! The new area will include lore from the Fantastic Beasts franchise and the British Ministry of Magic. We know there’s going to be a ride, but they said it has to be a surprise. We’ll be keeping an eye on the construction to maybe find out more.
You’ll get to experience each land as you are transported through portals to get there! We expect the rest of the rides and attractions to be named soon with more details for each land. But these three attractions certainly sound EPIC!
